Recommendations for accommodation in Žumberek
I plan to visit Žumberak and explore its nature and hiking trails. I'm looking for recommendations for places to stay in the area - I'm interested in mountain lodges, rural accommodations or any other option suitable for a short stay. I prefer places that are accessible by car, and it would be great if they offer breakfast or are close to local restaurants. This is a great opportunity to experience the authentic spirit of Žumberak, often with local food and hospitality. Examples are “Eco Village Žumberak” or similar accommodations near the village of Sošice.
Vacation homes: On platforms like Airbnb, you can find vacation homes that are more modernly equipped, but still located in untouched nature.
Prices: Mountain lodges are the most affordable, while rural households and holiday homes are a bit more expensive, but offer more comfort. Depending on location and season, prices range from 20 to 100 euros per night.
