OPG Ciban

The Ciban people have been involved in winemaking for over 200 years and have always been known for their business successes. The Ciban farm is situated in an attractive location and covers an area of fifteen hectares, of which ten hectares are covered by vineyards and five hectares by forests. The pride of the farm is an antique country house, known as the Malešićev his, which dates back to the mid-19th century and is associated with many mysterious stories, fairy tales and anecdotes. Since 1855, the his has been owned by the Jaska families Kovačina and Kovačić, since 1926 it has belonged to the Malešić family, and in 2004 it came into the possession of the Ciban family. In addition to enjoying quality wines, the Ciban farm offers its guests an abundance of gastronomic delights. Among the specialties, a special experience is to taste the famous soup made from forest mushrooms, picked in the forests of the farm itself.
