CATERERS - Basic information
Viticulture and winemaking in the Sirovica family is a tradition that began at the beginning of the twentieth century. Today, following new technologies, they produce about 60,000 liters of wine for the market annually, which they store in a modern and air-conditioned cellar. Two family members work in wine and grape production and cultivate about 2 hectares of vineyards, or 9,600 vines. The vineyard is located on the southern slopes of the Plešivica Mountains at an altitude of about 300 meters, where yields are lower, which guarantees high quality. Quality wines are produced exclusively from their own grapes. The pride of the farm is the green Silvanac. This variety is rarely grown due to its low yield and high sensitivity to rot and gray mold. The Sirovica family produces up to 3,000 liters of this variety with controlled origin annually.
